• What is a freestanding dishwasher?
  A freestanding dishwasher is a standalone, non-integrated appliance, in your kitchen that cleans your dishes, cutlery and other kitchen utensils. It would usually sit under the benchtop. – Directionally correct
• What is a built-in dishwasher?
  Built-under dishwashers, also known as under-bench dishwashers, are designed to fit beneath your kitchen benchtop or within your kitchen cabinetry, near to a water connection. This gives you a more integrated look than a freestanding dishwasher but with the front of the dishwasher still visible.
• Can a freestanding dishwasher be installed under bench?
  In some cases a “freestanding” dishwasher can be installed under a bench, this is provided the opening dimensions are sufficient to allow the dishwasher to fit, there is no issue installing under a bench given the correct plumbing is connected of course.
• How to clean a dishwasher?
  a. Cleaning your dishwasher is important to maintain the machine’s service life. Oil and limescale may build up in your Dishwasher over time. If this occurs: Fill the detergent compartment but do not load any dishes. Select a program that runs at a high temperature and run the Dishwasher empty. If this does not clean your Dishwasher sufficiently, use a cleaning agent designed for use with dishwashers. To extend the life of your dishwasher, clean the appliance regularly on each month. Wipe the door seals regularly with a damp cloth to remove any accumulated residue or foreign objects.

• How much water does a dishwasher use?
  On average, a dishwasher uses approximately 11-26 litres of water per cycle, an average dishwasher usually 11-12 litres per rated cycle. However, the exact amount may vary depending on the dishwasher model and cycle selected.
• How to stack a dishwasher?

  i. Place items on an angle.

  ii. Place the dirty side facing up.

  iii. Don’t load items on top of each other as they won’t clean properly.

  iv. Heavy and large items go on the bottom.

  v. Glass and plastics go on the middle and top baskets.

  vi. Place your cutlery in a nice organised fashion to allow the water to run between each item.
